I believe this could be another KCET situation. KCET left PBS in 2011 and they lost half of their budget because of that. There was backlash in Arkansas PBS’ social media by moving their donations to a nearby PBS stations. I don’t see them succeed by leaving PBS with that deficit in 2 years and It could be more than that due to viewer backlash in the state also donor and viewership drop.
